Clare River Harriers A.C. Juvenile section.

We are continuing to gather the completed forms and membership fee from other adults interested in helping out as juvenile coaches/leaders.

Anybody interested in registering as a Juvenile Coach/Leader with Clare River Harriers Athletic Club should take note of the following guidelines:

  1. Consult with your GP regarding any medical conditions you may have that might affect you in a coaching capacity and/or any coaching activities that will impact any such conditions.
  2. Read the AAI’s Code of Ethics and Good Practice for Children in Athletics.

  3. Read the Guidelines and Code of Conduct for Clare River Harriers Athletic Club

  4. Apply to be a registered member of Clare River Harriers A.C. and the AAI by: 
    1. filling in the CRH Senior Member application form

    2. paying the €20 annual CRH membership fee.
    3. The CRH registrar will then register you with the AAI.
  5. Apply to be a juvenile coach/leader with Clare River Harriers A.C. by: 
    1. filling in the CRH Juvenile Coach/Leader application form

    2. filling in the AAI eVetting Invitation form (to commence the required Garda Vetting process).

    3. For Under 18s, filling in the AAI Parent Guardian Consent form (to accompany the AAI eVetting Invitation form).

  6. Athletes transfer form (for any Senior or Juvenile athletes transferring to/from Clare River Harriers A.C.)

Congratulations to all the Clare River Harriers A.C. juveniles who participated in the Galway county cross country championships in Tuam on Sunday 01-Oct-2017.

This was a historic moment for Clare River Harriers as it was the first time in over 20 years that juveniles participated in Galway county championships.   Well done to all juveniles and their coaches.

The Clare River Harriers A.C. Under 10 Boys team (first 6 finishers) took home bronze medals.
The Clare River Harriers A.C. Under 12 Girls team (first 6 finishers) took home silver medals.
